Research On The Victimization Prevention

The purpose of this paper is how to prevent crime from the perspective of victims. The victimization prevention is one of the effective measures to protect people preventing criminal injury. It can use various means and methods to decrease the risk of crime by analyzing the tendentious factors and environmental factors of victimization. Crime prevention which centres about criminal and latent criminal is clearly limited. Crime prevention elaborates macrocontrols to prevent crime on the purpose to avoid criminals having the motive for the crime. As a matter of fact, Crime prevention is not functioning effectively in practice because it is offen too indirect ,broad and lacks workability. The victimization prevention can make up the deficiency by encouraging the subjective initiatives to avoid the criminal. In this sense, rearching the victimization prevention which can avoid victimization and repeat victimization is an effective measure to control and prevent crime.I have divided the paper into four parts to elaborate theorise and measures of the victimization prevention. The first part elaborate the overview on the the victimization prevention, which include the conception, cassification and characteristics. The second part elaborate the theoretical foundation of the the victimization prevention, which include the Victim Precipitation, Life-Exposure theories of Vctimization,the mode of "structure-select" and the Victim-factor theory. The third part elaborate the victimization prevention on the individual level, which include the different stages and targets of the victimization prevention. The fourth part elaborate the victimization prevention in the community, which include the victimization prevention of social situation and envieronment.
