With China's rapid urbanization process forward, gradually formed a special group of the peasants, their lives are going through major changes because of the loss of land, facing difficulties in their lives and legitimate rights and interests are not guaranteed, the contradictions arising from the growing highlighted. At advocate of building a harmonious society and the protection of human rights in contemporary China, and explore the protection of the rights of landless peasants to protect the research questions, especially in the legal aspects of the existing laws and regulations on the shortcomings of the study of the legal mechanisms to solve the problem, has important theoretical value and practical significance.Article is divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction, introduce the background and significance of the research topic, research methods in this article, as well as the structure of the article. Second part Introduce the evolution of "villages in city" and the peasant's loss of rights and interests in this process. First of all, the "villages in city" concept is such a special community in my opinion, saying that "villages in city" are one category of community in a series of evolutionary changes, should be considered with a developmental way. Followed by analysis the loss of land rights and interests as the core of the various rights and benefits Including land rights and interests in the process of loss; Including rights-and-interests loss in the process of land acquisition; the wastage of social security and rights to subsistence and development followed by landless. The third part analysis the main reasons for loss of rights and interests of fanners. From the land ownership structure system; land acquisition system; the social security system and Legal Remedy ways exist to analyze the shortcomings of the system to identify the crux of the problem. The last part make a few suggestions that how to protect the peasant's interests . Focusing on building the legal system, attempting to make some recommendations toimprove the institution.
