Research On Compensation And Resettlement For Landless Peasant Of Village C

Land resources are the resources to be used for industrial, agricultural, construction,transportation and various other industries, the development of various industries areinseparable from the support of land resources. As China has large population andcomplex terrain, land resources is extremely valuable in China. Along with the rapiddevelopment of urbanization in China, a large number of rural land are expropriatedand transferred. Now problems are arising from land acquisition and It has becomeChina’s prominent social issues subsequently, there are contradictions and conflictsoccurring when land acquisition compensation incurred. In this land expropriationprocess a marginalized vulnerable groups spawned, namely "landless peasants". If thisgroup cannot be given proper compensation and resettlement, it is bound to affect theharmonious and stable development of our society. In view of this, firstly sort ofcompensation and resettlement related theories are carded and related research resultsat domestic and abroad are searched, which are our theoretical basis and frameworkfor the study; Secondly, village C in Puyang City of Henan Province where located inPudong industrial parks is selected for the investigation of method applied empiricalresearch, then the existing compensation and resettlement measures, standards andmethods are briefly described, and the interests of different parties are analyzed byusing game analysis. By using five Likert scale method, we investigate the changes inliving standards around the landless peasants, agricultural land satisfaction,employment and development. And we pointed to the emergence of many problems,explicate various reasons of those problems; Finally, to improve the resettlementcompensation of peasants in village C, we draw conclusions:1) The landless peasantsis not entirely lost land acquisition side, if proper disposal of land compensation, localgovernment and landless farmers can achieve a win-win;2) The impoverishment andmarginalization phenomenon that happens in part of landless peasants in the processof land acquisition cannot be ignored after compensation, and effectively protectionof their vital interests needs focus in this land acquisition;3) Take job placement asfocus, the implementing of diversification are worth learning mode in future.
