Equipment acquisition is an important component of national defense construction, while equipment pricing is the focus of equipment acquisition. Equipment pricing plays a very important role to equipment construction and national defense, and is related to the overall situation of equipment construction and economic construction in our country.First, this paper describes the process of our equipment acquisition pricing, and it introduces the four main stages. It makes an overview of the theory studies on equipment pricing of the domestic scholars, which have active significance to equipment construction. But these studies have some obvious flaws. Specifically, most of the domestic researches focus a certain aspect, and there is the lack of a comprehensive, systemic and operational. So those studies have not been widely recognized and implemented. Then, the paper makes details of our military equipment acquisition pricing model. It Points out that the United States implements several kinds of pricing model, and pricing models use the market economic theories, it is worth our country having a choice of reference. The current pricing model used by our army follows the pricing criteria of "military approach to price management", and there are some defects, for example, the existence of "cost-black hole", many times calculation of the profit, not considering the life-cycle cost, the lack of incentives, and the mechanical pricing time and so on, it is urgently needed to improve pricing model.Market economy system is not yet mature in China; State-owned enterprises are the major suppliers of defense equipment. The feature determines the equipment pricing model must been gradually improved based on national conditions. First, penalty mechanism should be introduced in equipment pricing. Second, the pricing model should implement a flexible markon percentage according to the demand of acquisition. Third, equipment pricing should make the life-cycle cost management. The three proposed methods can effectively solve the drawbacks of current equipment pricing, and this has a very important theoretical significance.
