The Study On The Relation Between Antemarital Medical Examination And Population Quality

The antemarital medical examination system makes it a must for two persons who are going through the wedding registration according to law to submit emdical certificates to the wedding registration administration to show whether they suffered from the diseases not medically suitable for marriage.Antemarital medical examination is a legal content of Law of the Peoples Republic of China on Maternal and Infant Health Care,an effective measure for guarantee bearing and rearing of better children,the first step to assure the quality of newly born infants and a key method to make marriage life happy and to enhance the reproductive health.Due to the clinical symptoms of the common hereditary diseases,genital tract hypogenesis, genital tract infectious disease and vital communicable diseases and venereal diseases and so on are not so obvious in ordinary circumstances,if the diseases temporarily unsuitable for marriage and birth cannot be found in time and corresponding treatments cannot be done in an active way due to the shortage of compulsive anternarital medical examination,it will adversely influence the marriage and birth in future to some extent,resulting in pain of couples and families and burden to the country.This article,based on our country's actual situation,set forth the significance of the compulsive implementation of antemarital medical examination in our country and corresponding legal system construction practice from such four aspects as the changes and previous practices of our country's antemarital medical examination system,the legal rules,conflict and influence concerning antemarital medical examination system,the relation between antemarital medical examination and population quality,and the further perfection of our country's antemarital medical examination system and legal system construction.Starting from the purpose of realizing the sustainable development of population,this article aims to further arouse and enhance the concern and recognition of people,especially that of the decision makers,to the influence of antemarital medical examination to the improvement of population quality and foster the legislation work concerning antemarital medical examination through study on the antemarital medical examination system,thus creating a sound social and legal environment for the great improvement of our country's population quality.
