Research On The Construction Of Chinese Overall Urban And Rural Areas Of Old-age Service System

At prensent, Chinese aging population is grim, facing with some issues such as: the number of the elderly population base increases quckly, a high proportion of senior elderly, the number of empty -nesters has been increasing year by year and the family's functions have been weakened and so on. Accelerating the development of pension services, it is effective to response to the urgent task of aging population. Although the Chinese Government has tried to attach importance to the construction of old-age service system, such as forming the basis of old-age home, relying on community services, providing institutional pension supplemented by the old service system, there are still some problems, such as: the old-age social security system is not perfect and the old service system between urban and rural development is unbalanced, the gap is obvious and so on. There is a fundamental way to solve these problems: in accordance with the general requirements of the scientific and developmental concept for the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.According to the guiding ideology , China should establish and improve co-ordination of urban and rural old-age social security system, promoting the equalization of public services between urban and rural areas to lay a solid foundation .
