This article is about the theory of liberalism rights of Dworkin. It comprises three parts:equality, freedom and civil rights.On one hand, this theory came into existence on the background of the crisis of American society in 1960s. On the other hand, it criticized positivist jurisprudence and utilitarianism. It inherited the theory of liberalism. And it also had its own characteristics. Dworkin made the his theory substituted for positivist jurisprudence. And the theory of max-happiness was instead of the theory of civil rights. So his theory was from two parts of the post liberalism:the concept of civil rights and the rights of equality. At the same time it also had its own characteristics:the equality of freedom and the rights of freedom.We compared Dwokin with the other philosophers by analyzing his theory of liberalism rights. So this article began with the concept of freedom. And its base was the theory of rights. Its point is the theory equality. Through understanding his theory we could learn an announcement for overcoming the difficult of Chinese society.It is made up of four parts. The first, we discussed the background of the theory from economy and society. The second, we introduced his theory by expounding its characteristics of his theory and comparing his theory with positivist jurisprudence or utilitarianism. The third, we discovered its peculiarity of his theory by comparing his with the other philosophers, such as Rawls, Nozick. The last, we looked for its notice to China in the field of protecting the interests of the disadvantaged minority and strengthening protecting the civil rights.
