Facing the growing economic crisis, James O'Connor studied Marxist environment thought on concept and theory. He completed reconstruction of historical materialism by ecological Marxism, created the famous theory of double contradictions and double crisis, put forward an ecological socialist thought which trends toward the production justice on the basis of criticism. O'Connor's justice thought expresses by ecological Marxist thought. The thought was built on the basis of historical materialist reconstruction, it proposed through criticism of capitalist society and traditional socialist. O'Connor's justice thought includes four aspects: protection and restoration of "production conditions"; production aims to meet needs; from the pursuit of "distributive justice" to "productive justice" and argument of socialist ecology. O'Connor justice theory is reasonable on some aspect, in a sense, it broadens the perspective of historical materialism, innovative Marxist crisis theory. At the same time, it has reference on exploring a new socialist model. However, O'Connor's justice thought has an irrational side. It has eco-socialist utopia on Ecological Marxism, and ignores the argument of Marxist theory on natural forces. Therefore, we must look at O'Connor's justice thought dialectically. We can find his justice thought's inspiration to construction of ecological civilization. This paper discusses O'Connor's justice thought by five parts. First part is Introduction, this part summarily describes topics basis and topics meaning, writing methods and writing ideas, paper's innovation and concept of Ecological Marxism. The second part of this paper introduces fomination ideological background of O'Connor's justice thought, including real background and theoretical background. The third part of this paper demonstrates establishment of O'Connor's justice thought. O'Connor inherited some of the Marxist ideology, he put forward his Ecological Marxism ecology by reconstructiving historical materialism, critiquing capitalist society and comparing with the traditional socialist society. This part is the basis of his justice thought. The fourth part of this paper summarizes content of O'Connor's justice thought. It includes protection and restoration of "production conditions"; production aims to meet needs; from the pursuit of "distributive justice" to "productive justice" and argument of socialist ecology.
