Gorz's Justice Thought And Enlightenment

Andre Gorz (Andre Gorz,1924-2007) is a famous left-wing thinker in French now. He is not onely an important representative individuals of Existentialist Marxism, but also is a major ecological Marxist theorists. His work was quite abundant. His advance work was affected by Sartre. He wrote a series of works which combined Existentialism to Marxism. After 1970s, his research field turu to political ecology. Gorz combined Existentialist Marxism to ecology movement and post-industrial social theory, in which opened up new entrerprise for Existentialist Marxism. Meanwhile, he started from a existentialism Marxist into an ecological Marxist.Gorz launched a rational criticism of the capitalist economy through alienation of division of labor, technology, interpersonal in capitalist society, in which revealed greed nature of capitalist. Capitalist society is injustice. The working class started struggle at labor place firstly. They struggled for autonomy of labor which effectively resists the capitalist production process. The expansion of capitalist production rise to the ecological crisis and environmental destruction. The nature can not afford the better value and development pattern that capitalism pursued. The injustice non-sustainable development pattern led to inequality development in developing countries. We can rebuild ecological justice and social justice by changing capitalist relations of production and establishing socialist system.
