American Chinese And Chinese Soft Power

This thesis analyses the history and present state of the three treasure of overseas Chinese:Chinese group, Chinese school and Chinese media, also states out effect of American Chinese to the development and spread of Chinese soft power, and analyses the difficulty of overseas Chinese during this process as challeging factor, and finaly conclude the new ideas of Chinese diplomatic policy toward American Chinese. Nowadays there are more and more reserches from standpoints of regional economics, sociology, science of business management, science of public administration, etc. There are different conception and focus of soft power on different reseaches, but the soft power in this thesis is general benign soft power of the nation attracting others to follow. To enhance Chinese soft power is the mission of all Chinese on the globe including American Chinese. America is the strongest country in this world and China is outstanding among the developing countries. The relationship between these two giants is significant to the future global politic. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the American Chinese effect to the rise of Chinese soft power for the comtribution to build up more pragmatic and efficient policy on oversea Chinese.
