The Rise Of Chinese Soft Power And Promotion Of Overseas Chinese In Sino-Indonesia Relationship

In recent years, Chinese soft power has risen in the world with the enhancement of Chinese comprehensive national strength, the execution of "Harmonious World" foreign policy, especially the practice of good-neighbor policy. Chinese soft power and overseas Chinese problem have been researched respectively for a long time by academia; however, no Chinese soft power has been researched from the perspective of overseas Chinese yet. Beginning from the Sino-Indonisia relationship development with Indonisian example, this thesis makes this try to abstract the character and expression of Chinese soft power in Indonisia in different periods, importantly describe the promotion, difficulty and challenge of overseas Chinese to Chinese soft power in Indonisia, offer referenced opinion and advise for overseas Chinese to survive and develop, for Chinese diplomatic and overseas Chinese affairs department to develop Chinese soft power.
