On The Study Of Police Role During The Harmonious Society

From the social phenomenon of the creation of police, They just bear a specific functions and play an appropriate role in society.In different stages of social development, The role of the police are also different.Now, China is in the social transition stage,in order to resolve social contradictions,to promote orderly functioning of economic and social,government proposed to build a harmonious society。Faceing the conversion theme of the times,what role will the police play at the time?This is a question worth deeply researching.The article is based on the angle of empirical perspective,which gets contents from the a continuous police phenomenons of harmonious society——"My favorite top ten People's Police".By sociological role theory as the basic research paradigm,argue the police role of the harmonious society,lays out the characteristics of the police role in the harmonious society。Through the analysis of empirical material,in the period of a harmonious society,Police played the role of attendents,administrators and order defenders. In response to community expects,the police conduct the process of role-playing,Showing a wide range of characteristics of roles. The conflicts caused by expectation of Social subjects,and the fault of process in response of the police to poor result in China's police role conflict,which caused the police conflicts.This reflected in the relationship between the police and the community are two aspects:Firstly,we aquire police and community in a intimate state,secondly,we aquire the police and community to keep such distance,which caused the contradiction of the police role. The conflicts of police role is inevitable,which are not good for the police works.So,what we can do is to reduce the conflicts of police role to a minimum. This includes two aspects which are the self-adjustment and social adjustment,the adjustments of police role is a system project,which not completed in one period,it's a process of feedback of policing development.The article is divided into three parts, the first part analyze the empirical material drawn in the society,Reveal the police role during the harmonious society which rooted in social and ecological environment,.and reveal the intrinsic demands of the police role in different social subjects.These factors are the decisive elements of the police role-playing.The second part discusses the role of diverse characteristics,which outlined from the empirical material by the police in a harmonious society, and the diversity conflicts of the police role, analyzing the relations of performance in the police-community. .The third part analyzes the role of the police and the role of adjustment problems caused by the conflict,in the issues of role of adjustment, the police need to understand the new era of the inherent requirements of their environment, through the subjective conditions (the quality of the police) to examine, location in the role of the service, law enforcement,maintain order ,which to reduce the conflict of police role to a minimum.
