The Problems And Solutions Of Villagers Self-government In The Context Of The Migration Of Migrant Rural Workers

In order to solve the governance vacuum in rural areas left by the disintegration of the people's communes , Villagers Self-government was created by villagers and promoted by the state, Its important function is to manage their own political, economic, cultural and social life by themselves. In the past 30 years, Villagers Self-government, as the new contributions to the development of socialist democracy, provided a set of new governance model and was strong rural institutional framework for boosting rural harmonious development. In the course of Chinese Modernizations, Villagers Self-government is faced with the opportunities and the challenges brought about by urbanization, especially , the changes in the political environment with mass migration of migrant rural workers. The thesis analyzes the problems of Villagers Self-government in the context of the mass migration of rural workers to explore the community self-government form with Chinese characteristics and push forward the development of Villagers Self-government in order to achieve a successful transition.
