| Women's political participation is an important symbol of social progress and democratic politics, and it is also the necessary requirement of rural economic, political, and social development after the Reform and opening up. China's villagers'autonomy in rural area has provided for rural women's political participation the opportunity and platform. But in practice, there are some problems: the not-high participating rate, the irrational participating structure, and the limited participating depth and breadth. The basic reason of the deficiency lies in the restraint of traditional ideas and the feudalistic thinking. Besides, rural women's political participation is limited by the incomplete regulations, the inexplicit guarantee, the level of participation consciousness and ability.Combined with Governance Theory, the thesis investigated the rural women's political participation in the view of Feminism. Based on the present situation of women's political participation in the course of villagers'autonomy in China, it put the details of'the women's participation in the village-level governance'into analysis. The program of'the women's participation in the village-level governance'in Hunan province is a typical case to promote the political participation of rural women. In order to promote the rural women's political participation, the relevant laws and regulations were put forward, the working mechanism was improved, the overall quality and capacity of rural women was upgraded through training, cultural propaganda methods were innovated. So as to think about how to promote rural women's participation in village affairs further, it summarized the experiences of the program of'the women's participation in the village-level governance'. At last, it proposed solutions: raise awareness of rural women in political participation, enhance the quality of women, full play the leading role of women's federations, achieve the'four participation'balanced development, and so on.
