Freedom has run through in modern or ancient times, in China or elsewhere.Itdeveloped by the philosophers of the world. Different philosophers have their owntheories of freedom..Now that,it has different idea of the theories of freedom.We haveto conclude about the philosophers of the searching of the freedom.This is the point ofthe this thesis.This article has discussed the three aspects of conception of Freedom,that is,freedom of Chinese and ancient philosophy, Marx's freedom and Freedom in China.The first part of the article has discussed freedom of Chinese and ancientphilosophy, Philosophers use their thoughts to guide people's life, Zhuangzi claimspiritual freedom, But his freedom is an absolute freedom,and did not get the support .Arrived in wei-jin period of jin, metaphysical ideas are better than the zhuangzithoughts, because they were approved by the ruler.
