After the Second World War and the influence by the Cold War, now the U.S. Navy has become the world's most powerful maritime force, and in the maintenance of U.S. national interests and implementing the external strategy all play a vital role. In the Western Pacific region there are Japan, Russia, India and other major countries, and the existence of the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan Strait and South China Sea and other areas of potential conflict, geo-strategic situation are very complex and the regional conflicts frequently. In recent years, the U.S. began to readjust its naval strategy, and the so-called "China military threat theory" as an excuse to continue to deploy additional military forces in the region, these making the region's strategic security situation more complicated.This article will first recount American sea power strategy outlined, then recite the United States in the Western Pacific sea power strategy specific description, analysis and comment, and then explore the Western Pacific regional security and mutual influence of China's maritime security, the law of interaction, and the tactics of China were proposed.
