The Research Of Ideological And Political Education And Value Structure

The theoretical research for the value of Ideological and Political Education as well as the value structure has all along been concerned and researched by Ideological and Political Education theory circles. It is of great importance of our times to carry out a comprehensive, scientific, and rational analysis of the value and the philosophical problems of value structure. The value structure is attached to the philosophic category of value. Marxist theory of value believes that value is a kind of need and satisfaction that object responses to subject, and that originated from object, value is decided by subject and produced by practice. The concept of philosophic value is so abstract that it is pointless to talk about value in general terms, but it really exists in human practical activities. Once the value of Ideological and Political Education is accepted widely, it will be a hot issue concerned by society how to define\grasp and apply it further, which will bring us a mission of times to do research for the value structure. Chapter one of this paper gives an outline of research significance together with a summary and evaluation of the present situation, proposing a way of thinking explicitly. Chapter two firstly gives a simple survey and refinement of what value and value structure refer to, then presents a reasonable explanation of what is the value structure of Ideological and Political Education, secondly it further sums up the essence based on the reveal of the explanation, which is a perfect integration of unity of knowledge and practice" and "unity of others and I". Thirdly, based on the analysis of value structure of ideological and political education, this paper will extract the character of such value structure, namely a unity of instrumental and intentional values, intrinsic and extrinsic values, as well as personal and social values. In the third chapter, according to the essence and the character of the value structure, this paper will further reveal "four elements", "three levels" and "three types" of the value structure. Finally, in the fourth chapter, on the basis of a profound understanding of the value structure, a special view and principal to construct such a value structure will be introduced definitely.
