The Investigation About The Protection Of The Legal Rights Of The Northwestern Rural Children In China

Rural children are some people whose age are under 18 and who live in contryside. They often were born in countryside. And their parents are always peasants. Their legal rights are often offended by others, such as their parents, their teachers, their classmates and so on. So how to protect their legal rights is very important. And the protection of their rights should get more and more attention of our society and people. But there are still a lot of limitation existing in the protection of their legal rights, and I try to bring forward several constructive suggestions to the problem.This dissertation consists of three parts. Part 1 is about the conception of rural children and some legal rights. In the part, I want to tell the basic knowledge about the legal concepts which will be used many times in the paper. And besides these concepts, this part also consisits of something about The Chinese Law of Protecting Children.. It's an important law about how to protect Chinese children's legal rights, and at the same time it is the base of this paper.Part 2 is an investigation of the rural children's rights. Chapter 1 is a summary of the investigation, including objective, content, method, and the process of implementation. Chapter 2 is about the specific situation, analysis and means of condensed questionaire and conversation. This chapter analyses the problems in the rural children's school, their house and other situations in society ranging from their rights of guardianship, rights of education, rights of health, rights of development, rights of individual security, which may have an effect on the occurrence of the problems of the rural children. This article also analyses the situation with some cases and draws a conclusion that there are many defects on rural children's being protected.Part 3 is countermeasures about rural children's right protection, which is composed of 4 chapters. Chapter 1 suggests revising some legal articles and improving the law suit. Chapter 2 gives some suggestions about the local government's putting more funds in education and paying more attention to the protection of the rural children. Chapter 3 advises schools to give this kind of children more love and pay more attention to their psychological education. Chapter 4 suggests that parents should attach importance to family education, give them more love and choose persons of capacity and of morality to be entrusted guardians, and to improve their knowledge about children's physical and psychological health.
