Peer group is one of the common informal groups. The teenager peer group, as an important interpersonal environment in the teenagers'growth, is a basic type of the peer group. The peer group is a important environmental factor and carrier in the socialization process of an individual. The behavioral development characteristics and the interpersonal communication features of the peer group are of vital importance in the formulation of the teenagers'view of life and value. Teenager is a critical period in an individual growth. During this period, the teenagers not only become physically and psychologically mature, but also form their view of life and value in the socialization process. Nevertheless, the teenagers are still very weak in discernment, control and resistance, What's more , their cognitive level is still low, and their behavioral norms are still at the formulate phase, thus inclined to be affected by the negative factors of the peer groups.The adolescent peer group is a spontaneous group formulated on the basis of the members'voluntary choice and free association; it is short of organization and binding. Therefore, once the words and behavior of the group's core person deviate from the right track, a number of the group's members who are weak in discernment will have anti-social behaviors, even worse; they may commit gang crimes due to the homophile and the imitation between the in-group members. Consequently, those teenagers'body and soul will develop in the reverse direction. However, the current moral education of schools focuses on the individual students and their formal education while neglecting the influential teenager peer group. Besides the negligence of the schools, families and society also have not paid enough attention. For this reason, the present study attempts to examine the influences of peer group on the adolescents'view of life and value from the perspective of teenager peer group. In specific, the present study investigates the shortage of peer group impact on the education of the adolescents'view of life and value. The present study proposes that schools, families and society should enhance communication and coordinate with each other, so that they may make full use of the influences of peer group on the teenagers'healthy growth. It is hoped that the present study will contribute to the positive influence of peer group on the teenagers'development.There are four parts in the present study:Partâ… ,an overview of peer group. In this part, the present study not only defines group and peer group; but also expounds the research sources, formation reasons and the categorization of peer group.Partâ…¡, discusses the impacts of peer group on the teenagers'view of value. This section first analyzes the relationship between peer group and the education of teenagers'view of value. After that, this part discusses the positive and negative influences of peer group on the teenagers'view of value. Roughly speaking, this section mainly examines the influences of peer group on teenagers'view of value from three aspects: the communication within the peer group, the environment of the group and the subculture.Partâ…¢, analysis of the shortage of education of teenagers'view of value under the influences of peer group. This part has two sub-sections. The first sub-section discusses the school educators'ignorance of the education of peer group's view of life, schools'depreciation of establishing school culture environment of the peer group and the negligence of guiding the impact of group subculture on teenagers'group view of value. The second sub-section expounds modern families'depreciation of education of the only-child and left-behind children and the influences of social environment on the communication of the members within the peer group.Partâ…£,discusses the education measures that should be taken under the influences of peer group on teenagers'view of value. This section proposes the education measures for teenagers'view of value basing on the analysis of influences and causes. First of all, school education should pay due attention to the influences of teenagers'peer group, including the updating of its idea, careful organization, making full use of peer group's positive influences and helping to build peer group culture. Secondly, this second proposes the education of peer group from two aspects: family and social education. It is hoped that the education of peer group will promote the sound development of students'moral integrity and behavioral habits, so much so that the teenager peer group will develop healthily under the guidance of correct view of value.
