Analysis Of Mechanism Of Village Mass Incidents

Chinese society is under going rapid transition, with drastic changes in social structure, rapid economic development, the breaking of the traditional pattern of interests, changes of the mentality of farmers and other factors which led to frequent incidents of the rural population, and some may even turn into Vicious violence such as impacting of party and government organs, beating party and government cadres. All these are inevitable to cause devastating influence to society. For society, mass incidents with a strong destructive power, are inevitable in the development of China's modernization and expression of the concentrated contradictions. Therefore, how to resolve incidents of farmers'group incidents will become the key to China's economic development and social stability.L Village "8.22" mass incidents, as a sudden emergency, the villagers seemed to be encouraged to beat the cadres, thwart the government offices, contain the national highway, and then they are dissipated to leave by anti-riot police. Why could these mass incidents happen? What do they reflect? These are the major questions the thesis paper is trying to answer. Through the interpretation and analysis of mass events, what led to mass incident is still the most mainstream view: That is the deprivation farmers'interests by government, and one of reactions as a form of retarded expression of interests .The grass-roots cadres of misconduct is the booster of mass incidents. Because social change is not fundamentally broken structure of traditional villages based on blood and geo, therefore, village groups are a real sense of social acquaintances. Thus, in acquaintances society, mass incidents triggered by villagers have shown features of no need to mobilize quickly together, as well as effectively prevent the villagers from free-riding. through the analysis of the participants'Psychological mechanism, it concludes that the villagers of the grass-roots'discontent with the government, is a second accumulated results, therefore, the expression of thwarting government offices, containing national highway and other radical and wrathful behaviors are the depressed reactions of being deprived of interests.This paper is based on empirical research by the public security organs, prosecutions material of judicial systems, my transcript of the interview with the grass-roots cadres. According to the approach of "process - event" , this paper tries to represent the details of the event, and then reveal and explore influencing factors of mass incidents, as well as different characteristics, thus enriching the research of happed mass incidents.
