The Mass Incidents Of The Network Public Opinion Research

The frequent mass incidents recently have seriously affected the social harmony and stability, and has become a signal of Chinese social risk. Network public opinion caused by the network carrier represented by network forum, blog, has not only provided a new source and a possibility for the development of group events, but also provided a new way for the effective solution of group events.In the information age, network public opinion has given new meaning and content to group events, and increased the difficulty and the cost of the prevention, specification, guidance and management. The article uses the butterfly effect theory to illustrate the fast propagation speed and the wide propagation range of network opinion and its negative influence on group incidents, development and adverse effects; uses the social conflict theory to explain the origin of the network opinion and the association between the group events occurrence; uses the theory of public field to show convenience, possibility and feasibility for people to express demands and communicate freely in the virtual world; uses group philosophy of Le Bon illustrate how people in different geographical space find an agreement and reach group aggregation, use the value-added theory to explain that mass incident is formed by the interaction of multiple factors.First, the article generalizes the actuality of the study on the line public opinion and the definition of mass incidents and online public opinion by literature analysis. Then, the article discusses the communication traits of the network opinion and community events by content analysis. and the network opinion is divided into latent phase, durative phase and rehabilitative phase, taking Wu Kan as an example. On this basis, dissecting its positive(forewarning function、buffering function、supervisory function) and negative(blasting fuse function、accelerator function、the contradiction between fermentation function) effects and the causes which about network opinion of mass incidents on the sense of democratic participation、the government credibility、benefit expressing channel、group psychological resentment. Finally, the author provides countermeasure and suggestions for the prevention and treatment of group events with the enhancement of the government credibility, the reinforcement of he public opinion information monitoring, cultivating opinion leaders to guide the network public opinion, the rational guidance of demands expression etc.
