Study On The Security Issue Of Peasant Migrants' Rights And Interests

After the reform and open policy, the number of peasant migrants has been improving with the deepening of the rural industrial structure in our country. Consequently, the security issue of peasant migrants'rights and interests appeared and became a hot spot in the academic field as well. It is an urgent problem to practically protect the rights and interests of the marginal group of peasant migrants in a large number.This thesis based on the analysis of the related perspectives and study achievements home and abroad takes the cross-region peasant migrants as the study object and the peasant migrants in Suzhou High-tech Development Zone as samples. It concludes the successful experience and weak-points of peasant migrants'rights and interests'security through the questionnaire survey and empirical analysis. The thesis analyzes the deficiency and its causes in security system of peasant migrants'rights and interests and suggests policies for improvement. All in all, we should study the security issue of peasant migrants'rights and interests from the perspective of urbanization and modernization to protect the rights and interests of peasant migrants through various ways. The marginal group of peasant migrants should be included in the city's social management and service system so as to contribute to the modernization and urbanization.
