The Function Optimization Of Religious Non-governmental Organizations In Transformational Society

The social transformation refers to "the whole social system transforms a particular structure state to another". According to content, it includes whole social system transformation as well as ideology transformation. As an integral part of ideology, religions will inevitable affected by social transformation. However, it seems the influence of religions on our social development have not died away, instead, shows a growing tendency. Especially in China, religions also gradually improve their states which turn into the important factors of the national unity, national stability.With the implementation of social transformation, China's economic and social development processed to a crucial period. The influence of the religious problems in political, social and international relations has increased and the complexity of religions stands out which forces the social power to get involved. Religion, as a non-governmental organization, act as a media for their followers. Its function, which is far beyond the scope of religious affairs, can effectively remedy the insufficient and defection of governmental and marketing mechanism such as disaster alleviation, education support, medical aid, other public service as well as relief the conflict which arise from social interests readjustment and social structure differentiation. Therefore, based on social transformation, it will examine how to play the function of non-governmental organizations in religious and those studies have a strong theoretical and realistic significance.This article is based on China social transformation. The research methods are mainly based on the literature material law, comparative research. Based on the systematic analysis of religious non-governmental organization function, it can help us to find problems and causations, point out strategic objectives of harmonious socialism society. Main content is divided into four parts.The first part is introduction. It mainly defined the background and the importance of this paper. Moreover, it focuses and systemizes the study of western scholars which related to religion, non-governmental organization, in recent years. Finally, this research paper indicates the main contents and methods.The second part focuses on social transformation and religious non-governmental organizations . Firstly, it analysis the characters and conceptions of social transformation and religious non-governmental organizations function as well as the factors which influence the development of religions. Secondly, it analysis current activity of religious non-governmental organizations in China's, it states our governmental role on current status of religion. Finally,it examines the function of religious non-governmental organizations from the political, economic and cultural development, resources integration, and social coordination and social services.In the third part, it first states the new situation, the new question of religion in our country. Then, it explores the problems of religion non-governmental organization function from the political, economic and cultural exchanges, and the function of the religious communication. Then, it selectively analyzes two restrictions to non-governmental organization development which are organization and the external and internal environment. For instance, lack of trust and charitable consciousness, imperfection of legal policy, et. Al is the external disorder which leads to restrictions of religion's development. Moreover, the internal environment, such as lack of endogeny mechanism, the lack of human resource, weak independent , time consuming of implementation, are huge challenges to restrict its functioning.The fourth part explores "how to fully play our religious non-governmental organizational function". It started from two factors, which are optimizing external environment of organizational function and strengthening organizational ability. The extending of those two factors are supported by some suggestions such as"propose the concept of harmony, eliminate the attribution error, encourage and increase charitable consciousness, focus independence and talent training, perfect the system of social service function, strengthen the legal system perfecting religious affairs management mode."et. These suggestions play important roles to fully release the potential function of religious non-governmental organization in the socialist construction.
