Human resources management is an important part of tourist hotel's operation and management. Human resources department plays an important role in dealing with recruitment, training, staff retention and other related matters with staff. It plays a leading effect in the implementation of hotel labor regulations , laws and regulations. The "Labor Contract Law" was implemented on January 1, 2008. Legislative Orientation focus more on protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, and while the "Labor Contract Law" makes more strict requirements on the hotel human resources management. Based on the important role of human resource management in tourist hotels, this paper, with hotel labor contracts signed with employees as an entry point,has conducted a study on human resources management of tourist hotel based on the "Labor Contract Law", in the relevant theoretical research, data analysis and questionnaire survey. It also made positive recommendations of the management, in order to improve the level of hotel management and promote the harmonious development of labor relations.In the backdrop of the "Labor Contract Law" being implemented, This paper carried out the study of the domestic and foreign hotel labor relations and human resource management in order, put forward the rationale, research methods and routes. It first discussed the "Labor Contract Law" in progress, meaning and operability, and then put forward that the hotel labor regulations are necessary to be timely adjusted; It analysed the supply and demand of tourist hotel human resource. Form the establishment of labor relations between hotel and staff, human resource costs, staff turnover and other aspects, it analysed the impact on the hotel human resources management of the "Labor Contract Law". A questionnaire survey about tourist hotel labor contract has been conducted. This paper interpreted the relevant legal provisions from labor contract entered into, non-fixed term labor contract, probationary period, variation,discharge and termination of labor contract and so on. It analysed some management issues related to the "Labor Contract Law" and hotel human resources management. With small cases, it put forward that human resources department should pay attention to some problems about labor contract; Finally, some suggestions has been made to improve human resources management.Questionnaire survey and research show that the rate of labor contract which has been signed is generally increased. Tourist hotel enterprises pay more attention to the normative employment, revise the text of labor contract and the rules and regulations, adjust some relevant measures to improve human resources management, and make efforts to develop hotel labor relations harmoniously. Innovative management strategies have been setted up in the labor contract management and employee files management, rational division of salary levels, improving staff quality, etc. The paper also mentioned the obstacles in the implementation of "Labor Contract Law". Research related to the interests of hotel staff such as wages and working hours, social insurance and economic compensation is inadequate, these are also required in the future study.
