Research On Construction Of University Students' Party Branch

The Party-branch of university students has been taken not only as an organic component in the basic-level organizations of the Party, but also as a main force in the education of university students, which undertakes the responsibility of'a fighting bastion' on raising, developing young builder and successors to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. And it is in an urgent need of investigating, improving and strengthening the construction of the Party branches in universities, so as to fulfill the mission of ideological and political education, developing and cultivating abundant high-qualified talents. Thus, the Party-branch construction attaches profound and strategic significance to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, revitalizing China through science and education as well as human resource development.This thesis aims at strengthening the construction of the Party branches in universities, making detailed research on the current situation, finding the weakness in this regard and further putting forward innovative ideations and measures. It is composed by four sections. Firstly, theories on strengthening the Party branch construction in universities are put forward, which tries to clarify the relative theory basis by analyzing Marxism in regards of constructing the party as well as the foundation of Communist Party of China. Secondly, the strategic significance of university students' Party-branch construction are fully demonstrated, which is presented from how to develop qualified constructors and reliable successors in the cause of communism; how to deepen the ideological and political education of university students etc. Thirdly, survey and analysis of the current construction of the Party branches in colleges and universities are conducted and discussed. The characteristics and opportunities of the Party branch of university students'are presented in six aspects, as shown by data collection. Fourthly, the innovations of the Party branch mechanism in university students are defined in terms of its patterns, contents and effectiveness. By analyzing the above questions, it may further deepen to understand the work of constructing students' party branch in universities, prompting the development of students' party branch construction in universities.
