The Causes And Goverance Of Chinese Farmers Group Events In Transition Period

Since the reform and opening up, economic restructuring accelerating interest differentiation, making the main rural interests complication and diversity, however, a set of social interests coordination mechanisms are not set up, so rural social conflicts and frictions are inevitable. After 1990s, peasant group events has expanded at some degree in scale, intensity, and danger, and becoming an important form of our society conflict at the transformation. It is also an aspect of social disharmony in China.Based on the theory of social conflict and governance theory as research theory, and regarding the methods of literature review and the method of combining theory with practice as the research methods, this paper studies the Farmer Group Events systematically to take "question, analyze and solve problems" for basic research ideas.In this paper, the change of farmers living conditions after the reform and opening up is the background, first described incidents of mass peasant concept, features and functions. Then in-depth analysis of events in the interests of the system, local government functions, ideology and political environment-related causes. And analysis how to control the events with two factors, "symptoms, root":establishing early warning mechanisms, accountability mechanisms, the social crisis of major projects assessment mechanism; at the same time increasing the township government building, national treatment to farmers and promote the petition system reform and strengthen judicial capacity to resolve social disputes on how to control the mass peasant events from the root point of view.The increasing of farmers Group Events since the 90's of the 20th century told us that although since the reform and opening up the process of rural development in China has made many brilliant results, there are also some problems need to be solved. farmers do not agree with some of the policy at this stage and the way of interest distribution. We only have to correctly understand the farmers group incidents and can better learn from the experience and lessons and can enhance the capacity of serving the people.
