Based on the survey of conducting the Program "One Graduate in One Village" in Xiaogan District, Hubei Province, this thesis concerns itself with the communication model study of modern rural distance education from the social interactive perspective. Different theories have been introduced in the field of education to better outcomes of distance students. And in this study, I attempt to apply an alternative theoretic framework to examine the study pattern in our distance education, which involves questionnaire survey, academic interviews, on-site visits etc. Grounded on the statistics and sampling analysis, what can be concluded is that:In the first place, the communication effects depend on the quality of interactive activities among teachers and students to great extent. The application of modern distance education techs enables interactive communication and ongoing collaboration among students and teachers, students and students, teachers and teachers, whose counterpart in communication field, are respectively information delivers and receivers, information receivers and receivers, information delivers and delivers over the internet without the limit of time and space.Secondly, the state of information delivers or receivers influences the efficiency of information transmission, that is to say, in distance education teachers with different education background, personality and social property bring out various teaching effects. To support the point, the author categorized teachers and students into groups correspondingly to complete analytic study.Thirdly, the deficiency of feedback impedes the communication progress. What I found in the investigation indicates that communication model cannot be fully accomplished for the objective constraint such as the lack of high-quality facilities and faculties. Lacking coordination also hinders the implement of information transmission. The last but not least, the communication model is proposed to testify that the current distance education patterns bring benefits to information receivers in rural area. Meanwhile, the effectiveness and efficiency feedback channels, the multiply and frequency of interactive teaching activity are the utmost factors to improve the outcome of distance education.
