The Chinese childish education reaches its golden age in Song Dynasty,when political reform, together with the steady economic development at the time, significantly drew the attention of ruling class to scholars, and thus a more rigorous emphasis on restricting behaviors has been proposed. Education promoting campaigns, the rise of private schools and imperial testing reform further expanded the scope of childish education and bred the crucial faculty resource at the same time. Advances in printing technology, on the other hand, provided a superior kind of material for educators to publish their advocates and further increased their social influences, some of which even had a direct impact on Song's childish education. Meanwhile, family mottos, notes and historical archives of Song's scholars which has recorded real practices of childish behavior education at that time, turned out to be precious illustrations and references for current research on Song's childish behavior education.Interpretating educational topics from different perspectives, Song's childish educators had their advocates covered topics including the impressive social functions of childish behavior education, educational principles, contents and teaching methods. Educators such as Zhongyan Fan, Zai Zhang, Hao Cheng, Yi Cheng, Xi Zhu, Chun Chen. Dexiu Zhen are the most prominent representatives.The main contents of Song's childish behavior education generally reflect the behavior requirements of campus life, family norms and the necessary preparations for further career development, which, though hold a feudal nature and of no doubts has limitations, still shed light on modern childish behavior education, especially for its historical experiences and educational methods.
