A Study On The Network Counselor Team Construction

At present, as the expansion of space and the vector of innovation of ideological and political education of university students, the ideological and political network education plays a more and more important role in the university. Due to the strong functions of the network, such as gathering the information and making communications, and also the popularization rate of the campus network within each university has been gradually enhanced, the network life has become a major method for university students to make communications, study and do entertainments. The Internet creates a new chapter in ideological and political education and innovates the counselors'work, while giving it new challenges. The establishment of a team of network counselors has become a necessary requirement for strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of university students.This paper first fully explains the necessity and feasibility of the network counselors' team construction and then describes and analyzes the current condition of network counselors'team construction based on the use of survey data, field interviews and case analysis. Then summaries the advance experiences of network counselors'team construction from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Northeastern University and Liaoning University, to point out the main problems of the undergraduate network counselors'team construction right now, such as the failure establishment of organization mechanism, communication mechanism and training mechanism, and to analyze the primary cause of those problems. At last, points out the strategy and suggestions of undergraduate network counselors'team construction of counselors from three aspects, including the working model of network counselors'team building, improvement of the quality construction of the network counselors'ideological and political education and completeness of the mechanism building of the undergraduate network counselors'team.
