Research On The Higher Vocational Education Impacting On The Regional Economic Growth

The growth of economy remain more than other time from the development and reform. At the same time, the development of higher education draws attention of all parties since the reform of it. we should also support and concern the development of the higher vocational education.The guidance of this paper is the basic theory of modern education economy. We use various analysis methods, studies the impact of higher vocational education for regional economic growth. First this paper introduces the basic theory of vocational education impact on regional economic growth; Then analyses the higher vocational education and the current of regional economic growth; Then uses the data of vocational education and regional economic growth between 1998-2008, studies the impact of higher vocational education for regional economic growth; Finally draws the basic conclusions and the corresponding policy recommendations.This paper mainly studies the impact of higher vocational education for regional economic growth. The main conclusions are: The result shows that higher vocational education and economic growth have the long-term equilibrium relationship, so higher vocational education affects the economic growth in the long run. However, because the difference of higher vocational education level of development and economic levels between areas. And the result show that higher vocational education on the positive role of regional economic growth has not been fully played out. The environment for the development of higher vocational education have to be improved.The major innovations: (1) In the region partition method, the paper proposes a relatively new division of methodology, based on geographic location, regional economic development and population and other factors to turn our region into the eastern coastal region, Northeast China, central China, southwest, and Northwest China. (2) This paper selects the higher vocational education students in school, student-teacher ratio, dropout numbers and other variables with regional economic growth as the objects of studying, more systematic and comprehensive studies the impact of higher vocational education for regional economic growth.
