| To strengthen and improve the ideological and political education of university students is the need of the development of the era and is also the realistic subject of whether our universities can cultivate the builders and successors of Socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics or not. At present, the ideological and political education of university students includes theory education and daily education. One is the main channel, and the other is the main position. As one of the main positions, the daily management of university students in ideological and political education has great educational potential and strength .It is also an aspect of achieving effectiveness of ideological and political education and can not be ignored. In many specific scenes, the daily management of university students has diverse forms and subtle effects of education which is more directly, deeply and targeted. The advantage is decided by the meaning and function of daily management of university students.Clearing concept is the first step to reflect the effect of ideological and political education in management of university students. Only by clearing the concept of daily management, can we grasp the essence of the work and the scope of the study. Secondly, we should clear the standards. Based on the comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of ideological and political education, can we grasp the standards of the work. Only by clearing the standards, can we know the direction. Thirdly, we should base on the reality. Through the analysis of the current university students' political thought and influence factors of reality, we can clear the realistic foundation and the position of the research object.
