| In the autumn of 2004, All the students of the secondary schools in Jiangsu Province participated in the experiments of Mathematics new curriculum ,so far, two rounds of experiments have been completed and several editions of experimental textbooks have been used. Since the autumn of 2008, Suke edition textbooks have come into use in the secondary schools of Wuxi, this set of textbooks is based on the Standard of Mathematics Curriculum for full-time Compulsory Education(Trial Draft),which fully absorbs many advanced educational ideas and has the advantage over tradional textbooks. Whether the reform of new curriculum can succeed or not depends on the implement of the textbooks.Through the investigation and analysis of secondary school's Mathematics experimental textbook (Suke Edition ) in current use situation,the author of this paper has drawn conclusions:There is the bigger gap of aims in Mathematic activities , geometry reasoning forms, the use of calculators , multi-media sigmatism between teachers and compilers. the gap has been caused mainly by two contradictions ,one is the contradiction between the concepts of traditional teaching and advanced teaching ,the other is the contradiction between examination-oriented education and people-oriented quality education.The main body of this paper has four parts, Part I is an introduction, including relevant problems and studies, Suming of documents, purpose and significance of studying, trains of thought and methods of studying, Part I and Part 2 adopt some methods such as questionnaire investigation, interview . The deep investigation into current use situation about Mathematics experimental textbook(Suke Edition ) are made from multidimensions. The analysis of causes on result have been carried out. Part IV has conclusions which are drawn according to the investigation and suggestions which are provided to teachers and textbook compilers and education authorities...
