Researches On The Curriculum Construction Of China's Higher Education In Recent Years

University curriculum construction is an important part of the basic construction of education at higher learning institutions. It is also the key to improving the quality of education and personnel training. It exerts significant influence on the quality of education. In the recent years, close attention has been paid to the course content, the reform of curriculum and teaching methods and teaching management. Requirements have been set for the university curriculum construction in order to improve the quality of education for undergraduates. Remarkable achievements have been made in this area within the period of nation's 10th and 11th five-year plans.By means of the retrieval method, the writer searched a large number of files on the curriculum construction in recent years as well as articles on the curriculum construction and reviewed universities curriculum construction at different stages. By summarizing the status of the construction of quality courses, on-line courses and course groups, the writer summed up the achievements with regard to the teaching content, teaching materials, teaching methods, faculty and other aspects. Then taking the construction of the quality courses as the starting point, the writer analyzed main problems existing in the process of curriculum construction, such as application of curriculum construction, resource sharing, and management mechanism.Based on the preliminary results achieved, how to improve the effectiveness of the elements affecting the curriculum construction with practical measures, how to shift the focus of the study to the application level, such as researches of the application of the quality course share and the application results of quality courses, these will be the main direction of future research of the writer.
