Investigation On Worshipping Sport-stars In Teen-agers Sportmen

Sports stars worship is an important social phenomenon, this social phenomenon in after 1980s China birth and become an unneglectable trend. Sports stars worship as a complex social phenomenon, has social psychological phenomenon and social cultural phenomenon of dual nature. Young athletes as a special people, their value orientation both reflect that our society, our age of overall value orientation, have again at the same time at this age of "special" characteristics.In order to help adolescents form a positive and healthy personality, so the sports star upward to the growth of young athletes can exert a positive influence on, it is necessary for young athletes worship sports stars' phenomenon. By establishing exercise sports star example, for young athletes clear physical exercise should study example quality, through star effects promote young athletes to establish good sports attitude, which is beneficial to guide them on sports behavior formation.The auathor applies the questionnaire survey procedure to conduct the investigation in the teen-agers athletes in some extra-curricular sports schools in Hebei province , the survey results indicated the followings;1 The vast majority of the teen-agers had their own sports- star idols, the members of those who had star idols were obvious higher than those who had not worshopping idols.2 The idols were divideed into six kinds: sports -star, film and television song singers-star, statesman, entrepreneur, scientist and others. Among the others, they were teachers, the parents, schoolmates and so on. .Worshipping the sports-stars was arranged in the first place, compared with that of film and TV song singers .3 The sports–star idols were mainly distributed in the fields of basketball ,soccer, track and field, gymnastics, pingpong, tennis and badminton, their idols's fields were related to that of worshippiers, most of them liked their own engaged fields and then loved their iodls much more.4 The worship degrees of vast majority of the teen-agers were in moderate and benefical scope.5 Personal capabilities were paid much more attention to by the teen-agers, sports-stars'excellent techniques, remarkable physical ability, individual characters, superior quality and good appearances were the examples.6 The proportion of worshipping idols among the teen-agers were increasing along with the grade rise, especially in high-school students.7 The influencing factor of the idols to the teen-agers were mainly"ideal job", the followings were"stimulation""mood adjust"and"individualized study".8 The worshipping of the teen-agers presented perceptual stage, surface, blindness and mass characters . Finally, the author put forward the following corresponding countermeasures;.1 Sports -stars should set a good self- image to the public.2 Media should take up proper education responsibility to strengthen the guidance to the teen-agers.3 Establish the school - family linkage mechanism and give full play of the education functions from school and family .
