Shijiazhuang City "the School Sports Activities In The Study Of State"

In 2006, the Ministry of Education and National General Administration of Sport has put forward Document Five which states that improving youngsters'physical qualities and reinforcing their health is our national great event. The Document Six by the Ministry of Education, National General Administration of Sport and the Communist Youth League states to launch students'sunshine sports activities, which has laid foundation to spread quality education and this is an important strategy for improving the national qualities. The purpose of launching"Sunshine Sports"is to establish a good atmosphere to attract a wide range of youngsters to go to the playground, to get closer to the nature, and to take actively part in the physical exercise, hence developing their interests in and habit of physical exercise, efficiently increasing students'healthy standard and sticking to the rules of"Health first, happy PE and lifelong physical education". The PE education in primary school education is the basis to develop the students'thinking and good lifestyles. The early childhood education has played an important role in developing students'thinking, forming good lifestyle and setting up good morality.In recent years, the launching of"Sunshine Sports"in Hebei province has got great achievements. In 2009, the Educational Department of Hebei has introduced the notice by the Ministry of Education,National General Administration of Sport and Communist Youth League, which is about carrying out the third Sunshine Sport distance race and many schools have actively taken part in the event. Shijiazhuang is the cultural, political and economic center of Hebei Province, so it is of great importance to launch the"Sunshine Sports Activities"on the basis of senior high schools in this city. Owing to the diversity of the"Sunshine Sports Activities"and the limitations of the research and time, this thesis could not include everything. And it only can choose some important fields to make research according to the requirements and conditions of the research. This thesis, by searching references, sending questionnaires and calculating statistics, has investigated 1328 high school students and 213 physical education teachers in 33 high schools in Shijiazhuang mainly including the situation of students participating in the"Sunshine Sports Activities", their attitudes toward the event, their time spent on the physical exercise, the teachers'educational degrees, their recognition about the event and the parents'recognition about this campaign, the existed problems have been analyzed, and meanwhile, the suggestions have been put forward to. This research has analyzed the following existed problems:Sixty percent of high schools in Shijiazhuang have no idea about this sports event but most of them have agreed that physical exercise have played important role in improving human being's full development and realizing its values.Sixty percent of students are comparatively satisfied or unsatisfied with the opening of sports items, proving that some problems are existing in the installation of Physical Education items, for example, some new items have not been publicly open so that students seldom choose them. Only 6 percent of students can"taking exercise one hour every day". The contradiction between exam pressures and physical exercise is the major cause to influence students to take exercise.Most of teachers are graduating with a bachelor's degree and there are no top teachers and they rarely communicate with their colleagues or PE teachers in other schools about their major, as a result the knowledge has not been updated so that it influences the long-run development of this activity.The phenomenon of lack of opening PE lessons and healthy lessons still exists. In this research, eighteen schools have fully carried out the plan, seven have partially done and eight schools have not, which indicate that this campaign has not been fully launched.The increasing number of students'parents has put emphasis on their children's health and on their physical education exam scores. But still a large number of parents are not concerning about their children's outdoor activities.The fatalities in half of Shijiazhuang middle schools cannot meet the requirements of launching the"Sunshine Sports Activities".
