With the accelerating process of Chinese industrialization and urbanization , the migrant workers have become an important force of China's industry. In the current pattern of social stratification, education is not only a fundamental right for migrant workers at the lower level of the present society , but a major or even the only way to convert them to achieve their own social class.However, in the current urban-rural environment where barriers are not eliminated yet, compared to the children of urban residence, as a second-generation immigrant children of migrant workers obviously could not get the same education opportunities and their education is just in a marginalized state. The future development of the children of migrant workers has been greatly constrainted ,which makes it is not conducive to build a harmonious society .Thus, in the new situation, how to adhere to the"Two-First"policy, how to protect the children of migrant workers to get a fair education, is currently a major topic that we have to face in the process of building a socialist harmonious society.For this reason, after using the theory of field and social exclusion as a theoretical tool to define the children of migrant workers, education marginalization and other related concepts , the following assumption has formed. That is, under the combined effects of the capital of system, the family background and the school education, the education of the children of migrant workers is just in a marginalized state compared to urban children in the education process of the inflow district,which indicates in the following aspects: the marginalization of the "desk"; the marginalization of mind; the marginalized sense of belonging. This study relies on Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Wuhu and other cities'questionnaires as a carrier to characterize the marginalized status of education from both internal and external dimensions, and respectively analyses the reasons for the marginalization from the three aspects: the system of capital, family background, and school education. On this basis, We support some recommendations to digest the education marginalization from such aspects, that is: the national policy; the urban public schools and the school for migrant workers'children, family education and community education etc.
