Study On The Problems Of Compulsory Education For Children Of Migrant Workers

With the speeding up of urbanization in China, urban migrant workers have become an important part of the city class. With the increasing proportion of urban migrant workers, the ability of China’s city acceptance and public affairs services have to meet a higher challenge, and the education of migrant children also undoubtedly puts forward higher requirements on China’s urban education management system and operating mechanism.Currently, the education of children of migrant workers in China’s urbanization process is particularly prominent. If these children can’t receive a good compulsory education, it will not only affect the children’s individual development, but also affects the thorough development of China’s compulsory education. At the same time, it directly affects the establishment of social justice system, hinders the improvement of the overall quality of our citizens, and will certainly bring a huge risk to China’s social development. From a shallow level, the education of children of migrant workers is concerned with the next generation of the tens of millions of migrant workers and the city’s new generation of immigrants, and from a more in-depth level, it is also related to the harmony and long-term stability of the whole country.This paper firstly makes brief introduction of the current situation of the education of the children of migrant workers from the migrant children and the left-behind children respectively with actual research. Based on this, the causes of the education problems of children of migrant workers is analyzed in detail from the urban and rural segmentation system, lack of fairness in the formulation of making education policy, marginalization of migrant workers caused by local institutional barriers, and opportunities, ways, security systems of migrant children’ education and the implementation failure of policy. After the discussion, this paper puts forward the solution from establishing sound policy implementation system, perfecting educational management mechanism, strengthening the education concepts, broadening the educational ways, increasing the input of resources, and strengthening policy support. Meanwhile, it further demonstrates some effective ways to improve the education of children of migrant workers combined with the basic practices of the input and output schools.With the discussion of above problems, this paper aims at putting forward countermeasures to the education of children of migrant workers fitting into China’s current social development and harmonious society construction, and to actively push for the construction of future urbanization of society.
