Its multiple functions are listed as follows, its guidance to the Public opinion, Propaganda education, Informative exchange and Campus entertainment. Over the past years, a lot of academic investigations have been focusing on the function of ideological and political education, while regretfully neglecting the function of cultivating the campus culture. This academic situation obviously restrains the campus cultural construction of the college media both theoretically and practically. With the development of science and technology, the role of college media in campus cultural construction is becoming more and more prominent. It is significantly important to strengthen the construction of the college media and to enhance its function of public services level, which will be helpful to the fresh and healthy creation of college culture.This paper will focus on the positive usage of college media in terms of its interaction with the campus cultural development, with a background of the connection between the college media and the current situation of the campus cultural construction.
