Teachers are the key elements in the development of education. Facing the newly-emerged thoughts, concepts and methods in educational field, teachers should always stick to self-study, self-improvement and self-surpassing. Nowadays, with the implementation of the nationwide project of "network on campus, network to classrooms", more and more colleges and universities have established their own campus networks, which present an important research subject before the teachers about how to make good use of these networks to improve their teaching level and competence for modern information technology.Campus network provides a new environment for teacher's growth and imposes a great influence on teachers'psychology, intelligence, emotion and cultural accomplishment. This thesis, on the basis of literature review, discusses the present and future situation of cyber-education, the reshaping of network on education and the promotional function to educators'comprehensive qualities. First, on the basis of the past research achievement, this thesis goes further into the discussion about the basic theoretical problems of networked campus such as the connotation and features of the campus network, which are the premises of the research work. Second, the author analyzes the influence of campus network on teachers'growth from virtual study communities; teaching blog and e-file pack, and explores the effective approaches and ways to teachers'improvement with the assistance of campus network. Third, from the practical experience, the author draws a conclusion of the value and significance of the special cultural area for teachers on campus network and aims to investigate to what degree the new technology and thought will support teachers'development. The aim of this thesis is to study how to make full use of the campus network as a resource and an advantage to promote the teachers'development and restructure the design conception to establish a campus of oasis where teachers can display their individuality and life values.
