Writing is an efficent way of expressing ideas and communicating with others in theform of characters.Therefore, it seems vital to develop students’ reader consciousness inwriting teaching. Whereas the writer has discovered that nowadays a large number of studentshate writing, one of the most important reasons for which lies in the fact that readerconsciousness has been neglected by teachers and students in writing teaching. Lack of readerconsciousness directly leads to bad efficiency of composition teaching,void compositions fullof empty and conventional talk and slowness of writing improving. Consequently, it bcomesemergent to cultivate students’reader consciousness in writing.Writing teaching based upon network provides a new platform for fosteringstudents’reader conciousness effectively, especially the organic integration of campus andwriting teaching can compensate the shortage of the Internet in safety and teaching pertinence.In the study, the writer attempts to make use of network to carry out composition teaching andmake the students have a clear awareness of such problems as “How to write”,“Why towrite” as well as “For whom to write” according to characters of campus network andstudents’ physical and mental development and by creating situations to effectually activatetheir observation, thinking, imagination, motivation,interest and emotions,making writingteaching really a qualification education course beneficial to their future life and finallyreaching the teaching goal of serving for students’life-long developmentThe article consists of five parts:The foreword mainly covers such aspects as origin ofthe topic study, primary content, intention and significance.Introduces some related theoriesabout how to bring up students’ reader conciousness based upon campus network, focuses onanalyzing the superiority of composition writing based on campus network over traditionalcomposition teaching and internet writing teaching in training students’reader conciousness inwriting and accordingly clarifies feasibility of utilizing campus network to cultivatestudents’reader conciousness in writing.Involves the background and research situation of thetopic, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the formers and then sets the main future tend of study. Strategies of fostering students’reader conciousness in writing about how toutilize campus network to pioneer multiplex proposition forms, wrting show platforms,appraise form, prompting manner and how to create imaginary writing situations based uponcampus network and some problems needing to be concerned about in rearch.In epilogue isthe disscussion about the effect of writing based on campus network upon students’life-longdevelopment.
