This article using the theories and methods of Comparative Education is a monographic study about "Future Problem Solving Program" in America. On the basis of summarizing the literature in China and foreign countries systematically, this article explores the context status and characteristics of this program. This article is aiming at getting a complete and specific understanding of American's creativity education, and then providing some enlightenments to our creativity education.There are five parts:Part one is an introduction. There is an introduction which introduces the purpose, the meaning, the questions, the contents, the methods and the writing structure of this article, and summarizes the related literature in China and besides.Part Two is about the background. This part depicts the social and education background to get a general situation of this program.Part Three is about the history and the status. It analyzes the history, theoretical basis and implement, which can get a distinct skeleton of this program.Part Four is the characteristics of the program. These characteristics can be received by the comparative study with other programs.Part Five is the conclusion and enlightenment. It includes the background, history, status and characteristics, and gives some enlightenment to our creativity education. At last, it provides some follow-up study.
