As an important part of comparative education theory, Analytical Framework had been the essential content of Comparative Education Theory which comparative education scholars are searching for. Jurgen Schriewer, as a German comparative educational scholar, on the basis of famous German sociologist Niklas Luhman's System Functionalism Theory had established the Comparative Education System Functionalism Theory Analytical Framework. The theory was initially formed in the late 20th century. The thesis which Jurgen Schriewer submitted to The Fifth World Conference of Comparative Education was the represent one, which Jurgen Schriewer used System Functionalism Theory to resolve comparative education topic. In addition, in the Sixth World Conference of Comparative Education the article had caused extensive discussions. After decades, the content of Schriewer's comparative education theory became more distinct, so it as to the Comparative Education System Functionalism Theory Analytical Framework.Comparative Education System Functionalism Theory Analytical Framework emphasis the duplicity of comparative theory, status and function of different compare methods, and highlights reconciling history with comparison in methodology, attach importance to the comparative study on the basis of functional equivalence. Based on the analysis to related content of comparative education theory of Schriewer, following with the exploring of the formation theoretical background of that analysis framework and its status, at last make a deep study of that analysis framework. Further more give an appropriate judgment to it and probe the impact to comparative education. Apart from the introduction and the conclusion, this paper is divided into five parts:Part One. The connotation and meaning of Comparative Education Theory Analytical Framework. First make istinctions between two similar concepts"Analytical Framework"and"Analytical Paradigm". Explain the significance of establishing Comparative Education Framework.Part Two. The formative processes of System Functionalism Theory Analytical Framework and its theoretical basis. This part had analysis the academic background, historical reasons of Schriewer's System Functionalism Theory Analytical Framework and the continuation of the comparative education theory, at the same time give a research to its theoretical basis, at last talk about the formation of Schriewer's System Functionalism Theory.Part Three. Jurgen Schriewer's Comparative Education System Functionalism Theory Analytical Framework. This part had emphasized under the framework, Schriewer's exposition to the basic problem of comparative education; facing new social situation Schriewer proposed the comparative historical method, and riches the disciplines Schriewer's interpretation of functional equivalence.Part Four. Schriewer's System Functional Framework features, advantages and disadvantages. This part had made the comments on System Functional Theory Analytical Framework.Part Five. The impact of Schriewer's System Functional Theory Analytical Framework. Make a further exploration to the theoretical framework's affection on comparative education research methods and discipline development.
