Population Of Modern Research

Research on population modernization is an important problem in demographic field. Based on sufficient investigation and meticulous consideration, the framework of research On Population Modernization is formed, which includes: (1) Introduction; (2) the theoretical framework of Population modernization; (3) index system of population modernization; (4) development background and mode of population modernization; (5) effect characteristics; (6) institution arrange of population modernization. The framework can cover main contents of population modernization and main characteristics, which a theory system should have.The introduction comprises three parts: the first part includes research background, Which sums up the research status quo in China and appraises related research of population modernization in western population theory. The second part analyzes status quo of population development and advances meanings of the research, which mainly presents population status quo in the world, especially in China and indicates the essentiality and significance of the research. The third part brings forward main contents of population modernization research and indicates attempts and innovation of the thesis, which mainly sums up the thesis and stresses the advanced, groping, innovation characteristics of the thesis.In the part of theoretical analytical framework, which mainly includes: (1) the signification and foundation of framework. The thesis divides the analytical framework into main body and brim body, and define population modernization and explains relational categories; (2) illustrating contents of theoretical framework in the main body: One, population reproduction modernization. The thesis makes use of demographic transition theory to describe population reproduction modernization, explains the causes of fertility rate declination and sets up the analyzing model, and then suggests that we should use "golden age structure" in population reproduction to promote economic development.Two, population quality modernization. In this part, the author appraises researchachievements on population quality in the world, discusses some problems concerning population quality and stresses the core position of population quality modernization in population modernization. Three, population structure modernization. By describing population structure, the thesis analyzes main contents, relational variables and restricting factors, and especially analyzes modernization of age, sex, industry, occupation, urban and rural and estate.Four, population urbanization. This part involves meanings and dimension of population urbanization, the active effect of population urbanization to prompt population reproduction modernization, population quality modernization, employment structure modernization. At last, the thesis analyzes the developmental trends of population urbanization in the world and "urbanization illness" to restrict population modernization. Five, fertility modernization.
