Research On Local Experiences Of Project Management In Social Organizations' Social Services

With the rapid development of the social environment and diverse issues of the society, an increasing number of domestic social organizations play supplemental civil roles to assist the government. However, the implementation of social service is essentially a huge project that involves every aspect including manpower, material, funds, and policies, as well as different related departments and fields. An integration of various resources must set a higher demand on a more modern and efficient professional method. Most of the social service agencies today are choosing the way of project management to do their work, especially some of the non-government organizations were born to run projects.A well-managed project is the key factor to standardize the process, promote efficiency, guarantee the quality and save the cost. Thus, the effective operation and management of a project is of great importance to its survival and development. How to reach its anticipated results with its limited resources, and how to improve its implementation has become a pressing concern to them.The thesis takes Mianzhu Qinghong Social Service Station as an example, to explore the application of project management in social services of social organizations, and try to find out how they take its own features to bring the advantage of project management into full play by the result of saving a great number of people and materials to accomplish tasks with limited resources.The thesis adopts the method of case study and collects information by literature study, in-depth interview, and observes as a participator. By analyzing all kinds of publications, dissertations, magazines and secondary data, the thesis summarizes Qinghong's experiences and provides a combined project management mode for the coming social services projects as a reference.
