With the progress of human society,the Humanities and Social Sciences play the more and more important role in the whole system of subjects, The importance and urgency of the Humanities and Social Sciences is becoming more prominent than ever. The Humanities and Social Sciences has its own feature, which is mainly researching on the hunman spiritual world and social phenomena, and meanwhile, the work of the teaching and the evaluation of university teaching in the Humanities and Social Sciences have to depend on the characteristic to carry out, which is different from the other subjects in the whole course in the universities. The Universities are the main force for developing the Humanities and Social Sciences in China,and the teaching of the Humanities and Social Sciences requires its evaluation system to be more and more strengthened. The evaluation system of the Humanities and Social Sciences is the guarantee of the teaching and development of the humanities and Social Science. Evaluation standard will facilitate the development of the Humanities and social science orderly. However, there is no professional evaluation standard and system is used in the universities nowadays.This study does research on the current situation of the Evaluation of the Humanities and Social Sciences, and have adopted the questionnaire method and the interview survey to start the research, which includes the following aspects: the understanding of evaluation, the contents of evaluation, the method of evaluation, function of evaluation, and the feedback of evaluation. in addition, I have designed some questions on the attitude of evaluation for teachers to get the main idea of teachers'thought of the Evaluation of the Humanities and Social Sciences. There are many problems existing among the implement of the evaluation from the survey's result, including having the misunderstanding of the evaluation, the evaluation method is too simple, the process of evaluation is not reasonable, the contents are not professional, and the feedback of evaluation is faultiness. The study has analyzed the reason of the problems and provided some useful suggestions to solve the problems, including having a right view on the Evaluation, establishing the flexible evaluation methods, and so on, in order to facilitate the development of the Evaluation of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
