Classical Chinese language teaching in senior high school teaching is a priority, which is also difficult. It is vital because in the current high school Chinese textbooks, classical takes a big share of the total. Since traditional teaching methods stressed that the teachers just teach the course contents and students just memorize what the teachers teach mechanically, Classical Chinese is also very difficult for students to learn, which makes the students lose interest in language learning and even cause the psychological difficulty for studying. This requires us to find a suitable method of teaching classical Chinese to change the current situation.Exploration of teaching from the United States were introduced to China. Many experts talked about the theory and published a number of relevant monographs. Inquiry learning and inquiry teaching on the theory are accepted by the majority of educators. The author, in senior high school teaching classical Chinese practice, deeply felt that exploration of teaching methods contributes a lot to classical Chinese teaching not only in theoretical but also in practical needs. Through their own practice and predecessors'teaching experience, the author explored a model of classical Chinese teaching (in and out of the classical Chinese text inquiry teaching model), and applied it to the real teaching. After two years of practice, certain results were achieved, for example, training the students'sense of exploration and inquiry capabilities. However, the changes of the way of teaching are not always smooth, and exploring the practice of teaching has a long way to go.
