Choosing the teachers'guidance for the Chinese textbooks (Grade 7 and 8) published by Pep and English teachers'guidance-Quest Teacher's Resource Kit 4and Checkpoint English Book 3, the appointed teachers'guidance of CIE course, this dissertation does the analysis of them, compares their characters of the function, content, layout and language style, deepens the understanding of Chinese education, chooses the research results of English education, then attempts to reveal the trend of Chinese teachers'guidance's development in the future.This dissertation is divided into four parts:Chapterâ… is comparative research on the function and content of Chinese teachers' guidance and English teachers'guidance, which reveals that Chinese teachers'guidance lays particular emphasis on explaining the textbooks and the professional knowledge, while English teachers'guidance puts stress on the guidance of implementing the National syllabus, choosing the teaching method, using the resources and teaching individually.Chapterâ…¡is the research of the differences on the layout between these two guidance systems. Chinese teachers'guidance is used to displaying the knowledge in recitative method while English teachers'guidance uses graphs to make the syllabus, textbook and strategies match each other, define the teaching stages and the methods.Chapterâ…¢is the analysis of differences on the language style between these two guidance systems. Both Chinese and English teachers'guidance mostly use the utility language. Chinese teachers'guidance uses some artistic language to introduce the literatures, while English teachers'guidance uses some colloquial language to make the guidance friendlier.Chapterâ…£is the borrowing and reflection. Though comparing Chinese and English teachers'guidance, author thinks, the Chinese teachers'guidance should insist its national cultural tradition and use the experience of UK on the aspect of maneuverability for reference.
