A Research On How To Create An Inviting Writing Environment For Senior High School Students

As we know, writing is part of life, and writing skills are crucial for students if they want to survive in the future. As someone put it," When you are reading, you absorb something; when you are writing, you tell others something." Writing is a must for people to express themselves and communicate with others and it can be thought of as a way of life.Writing can help train thinking abilities, develop thinking skills,elevate minds,cultivate tastes and faciliate harmonious development. Writing, a natural way to actualize personal worth intellectually, differs humans from other creatures as an essential need.One of the most important reasons why there are few,slow,poor and time-consuming teaching writing tasks in hish schools is a lack of an inviting writing class environment. We Chinese teachers should be fully aware of the importance of improving writing teaching from the perspective to help students ahieve their goals and develop themeselves harmoniously. Some feasible measures to create an inviting writing environment have been put forward in the paper. Fristly, all factors involved in the classroom should be taken consideration to gurantee students'subjective status in the writing. Secondly, students should be encouraged to develop the idea that writing is an important way to refine oneself, and thus students can concern the real life and express their own experiences. Finally, students should be trained in a continuous while effective way so that they can find their own way to express their opinions about life.Also eight suggestions are put forward in the paper to create an inviting writing environment. These suggestions include " to create a clean Chinese learning environment", " to form a good writing habit", " to accmulate writing materials", "to focus on the traning of thinking ability", " to shape students'thinking ways", " to provide an inviting writing environment in the classroom", " to improve writing types" and " to assess students'writing in different ways".It is worth thinking about the present situation of high school students'writing. If Chinese teachers are willing to try every effort to create an inviting writing enviornment to make writing part of students'life and to help students develop the writing habit to express their own feeling and opinions, that is good enough for all.
