| In the 1990s, the theory of multiple intelligences came into China and became popular in Chinese education. Many concepts of the theory of multiple intelligences coresponded to Chinese quality education, some experts even believed that it is the best explanation of the theory of multiple intelligences. Nowadays, the theory of multiple intelligences has provided many beneficial and constructive messages for Chinese current education curriculum reform and become the theory foudation to teachers'reform practise. The exploration activities in high school history classes are the new contents of the new curriculum along with the new high school history curriculum reform. They are the best embodiment of the new high school history curriculum reform ideas and challenges the traditional teacher-student relationship, the view of teaching and students, teaching model and learning model. Expioration activities in high school history classes promote active learning in diverse, multi-level, open learning environment to cultivate the ability to take the initiative to explore the historical issues and the scientific attitude of seeking truth of facts. They also can raise awareness of innovation and practical ability and train all-round students. These just coincide with the core concepts of the theory of multiple intelligences, which are student-centered, to train students'personality and all-round students. Thus we can draw on the theory of multiple intelligences to design and practice a high school history class of exploration activities, and based on the exploration activities in the class to review and summary, which has significance both in theory and practise. Present paper's research starts from this. |
