An Investigation Into The Practice Of Inquiry Teaching Applying To The Physics Teaching In Junior High Schools

Most of the time,students play the role of being taught in the process of learning, and the main purpose of teaching is just to preserve knowledge. Students'innovation ability can not be fully cultivated, so it would be hard for the students to meet the modern society's needs on talents.Since the competition in the 21st century is the competition of talents'comprehensive quality, the modern education should focus on the development of people and place emphasis on the cultivation of students'quality. In this sense, inquiry teaching is the main direction of the development of science and education at home and abroad.This paper is mainly based on the writer's teaching practice, combined with the development of inquiry teaching both at home and abroad.It explores the type, model and design principles of inquiry teaching which apply to the physics teaching in junior high schools, as well as conducts the practice and summary of inquiry teaching. Especially, it illustrates the important function of nowadays widespread information technology on inquiry teaching from several perspectives such as "creating situation and inspiring inquiry", "constructing model and promoting inquiry", "analogue simulation and helping inquiry".The rapid development of information technology is bringing profound reform to the traditional curriculum ideas, course content, curriculum implementation strategies and curriculum resources construction.The infiltration of information technology into teaching should be an important part of a further curriculum reform, and it is one of the effective ways and methods to realize the behavior change of teaching and learning.
